Total opens Service Station in Chiúre

Chiúre Service Station

On November 23, in the District of Chiúre, province of Cabo delgado, the inauguration of Total's first service station in the district took place, which is the 5th in the Province of Cabo Delgado.

The act is part of the plan to expand and cover the sale of fuels and lubricants throughout the country. The event was attended by members of the state provincial representation services council in the Province of Cabo Delgado, the Provincial Service Director of Infrastructures, the Administrator of the District of Chiúre, and other Guests.

The Secretary of State in the province, Armindo Ngunga, who inaugurated the service station said that the government expects the services to respond to the needs of drivers, the public and Chiúre citizens in particular, and even those who pass through this important corridor linking the Provinces of Nampula and Cabo Delgado.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Ronan Bescond, Director General of Total in Mozambique, said: “this act is part of our strategy to become the main responsible energy player, while providing quality services to our customers, namely quality fuels, lubricants and services. With the inauguration of this station, we show how we are a company deeply rooted in the Mozambican socio-economic fabric ”.

Present in Mozambique for almost 30 years, Total Mozambique is an important player in the downstream oil products market - network of fuel pumps, industrial and mining customers, lubricants and logistics in Mozambique. Total has an estimated market share of 14%.
