We want, therefore, and in line with the policies established by the Government of Mozambique, to contribute to the uplift of the participation of women in the oil and gas industry, traditionally dominated by men, providing them with an opportunity to start their career in a renowned multi-energy multinational which demands top-grade performance.”
Cheveia added: “we are aware that after the internship, we will not be able to retain all the professionals who complete it, but we are positive that by systematically developing this initiative, we will contribute to the creation of a pipeline of young professionals capable of adjusting to any organizational culture and provide top-grade output in Mozambique or elsewhere in the world. We believe, therefore, that these internships can be an added value in the lives of young people as well as for the sustainable development of the country.”
